Thumbs up The Most Secure Linux System Is Embedded Linux That's Jumpered

So the computer has a physical barrier because it has jumpers routed to barrel lock key switches on the front of the computer. AND most importanly there are jumpers with the same secure key way for firmware and/or bios upgrades. When this happens then Linux will be elite and Microsoft can never make any claims that they are more secure than Linux is.

Building Embedded Linux Systems

I've heard there is such a beast out there but I can't find the site. Anyone know where it is and which manufacturer is the new Linux security elite?!

umm...most newer motherboards are jumperless so unless you are getting a custom motherboard the jumper idea is not going to work for the general public.

Now if you were talking military or government systems...they could put in a special "milspec" order to manufacuture motherboards with this kind of functionality built in.

But it would very expensive and they would most likely not release these board to the general public.
