Question syslog and ntsyslog together in harmony....

Hi,
I'm using ntsyslog to log from a remote W2003 server to a Fedora 4 server.
The message file is being updated correctly and it's working nice.(Allevents/audits going to the FC4 server).
However, I want to know if there is a way for me to log remote messages to another logfile for convenience sake-eg message2003. I want the local Fedora message file to be for local messages and the ntsyslog messages to go to a separate file.

Will I have to install syslog-ng in order to be able to do this?

It will make it a lot easier, as syslog-ng's filtering mechanisms are top-notch, and will make keeping your W2003 logs separate trivial.
