Unhappy Suse Linux 8.2 Professional .. login and password _


i have just installed Suse Linux 8.2 Professional.. everything went fine.. but after linux boot,,, login and password are required to continue .. but i don't know them

What did you enter for the root password during the installation process? Just enter the username root and enter the password you used. Then create a non-root user account once you are logged in.

hmmm.. i don't acctualy remember that part of installition where i had to enter root password.. .. i'l re-install.

search the forums for a single user boot option ... usually at boot you enter:

init 1

and change the password for root account..
