suse/kde user management
 

Can someone reccomend a good tool for user management under suse 9.1/kde? or does yast or some other part of suse/kde offer what I am looking for?

what am I looking for you ask? I would like the ability to essentially create profiles for different user groups. Users will be logging into this workstation and using only a few specific applications. I want them not only to only have rights to execute those few applications but also to only see those few applications when they are in KDE. I would like it if when they logged in all that they saw was 2 icons on the desktop for their applications, and maybe a notepad app and calculator app or something in addition to log out under the program menu.

any advice on how i could achieve this is appreciated
