SSL setup

I have RH ES 4 doing https with custom cert. I setup mod_ssl but encounter errors while restarting my http service. Any clues to fix these errors asking phrase key, where do I input them?

[root@mrtg conf]# /sbin/service httpd restart
Stopping httpd: [FAILED]
Starting httpd: Apache/2.0.52 mod_ssl/2.0.52 (Pass Phrase Dialog)
Some of your private key files are encrypted for security reasons.
In order to read them you have to provide the pass phrases.

Server mrtg.csj.gov:443 (RSA)
Enter pass phrase:Apache:mod_ssl:Error: Private key not found.
**Stopped
[FAILED]
[root@mrtg conf]#

It is asking for the password because you encrypted your server.key. So you have to type the password when you bring up the server.

Or you can remove the encryption, but remember to set the permissions so that not everyone can read it.

check the openssl command to look for a way to remove the encryption.
