frnds i m using a squid proxy server...
i have block some sites by using

acl blockeddomain dstdomain "/etc/squid/blocked.domains.acl"
http_access deny blockeddomain



though i havenot block yahoo mail and hotmail still yahoomail doesnt open properly o can sign in bt as soon as i click any mail it doesnt open.simliraly when i try to sign in in hotmail it doesnt sign in.ther was no problem before when i have no restricted any sites but as oon as block a few site (not yahoomail
and hotmail) this problem occur.yahoomail older verson works fine yet.


please help me...out its quite urgent...

No, this isn't urgent for anyone here. We volunteer our time, so telling us to hurry up and answer you is fairly rude. If you want **URGENT** support, you should pay RedHat or SuSE for it, and they'll be there for you 24/7.

What version/distro of Linux are you using? Version of Squid? What the content of your blocked.domains.acl file is? If the old Yahoo mail is working, but the new isn't, then you're blocking something that the new version needs. Examine your blocked acl file.

I agree with TB0ne in that the answer lies in your access log file.

Please post the relevant chunk if you can't figure it out on your own.
