Won't affect your Linux box AFAIK. Seems it only adjust the Windows system files and audio sub-system, and is launched by an auto-load .exe I think. Someone with one of the affected CD's could always pop it in the drive and see what happens...
Although not related to the initial post directly, it appears that Sony is aware that they are not looking too good these days for installing a stealth Trojan and have made some PR moves and are "undoing" what they did:
I haven't seen anything to suggest it installs on any *nix either, as all the obfuscation seems to be via the windows registry and device drivers.
