smbclient problem
 
i use nmap to scan ip ..i have seen port wich netbio 139 is open
but when i use smbclient -L //ipaddress .. to view ip sharing ..
i get output like these " session time out " please help me
to smb.conf or what need to configure ? i hope all of co-orpate with me

I use NFS to connect a Linux box to a share on Linux and have little experience with smbclient. I'll give it a shot.

Can you mount a share on that Linux box? Can you browse the shares on the PC from a Windows PC? If not, go to the box and run testparm and see if you have any errors. Also type samba restart or smbd restart and nmbd restart. To make sure that both services are running. Then try to connect agian.
