Suppose i have a linux Server where 5 (five) clients are connected through my Server.
Here One client wants to browse every sites and others want to browse just 4 mailing sites Like
yahoo,hotmail,Aol and Gmail . Now for this regards i can use SquidGuard where i can restricted the
following sites for spcified users .

But i want to do this job by DansGuardian . Is it possible to do this job using DansGuardian , not
using SquidGuard ? If it is possible then plz inform me ...........THX..........

in your dansguardian.conf there should be an option called "filtergroups"... it lets you create special confs for different users and groups of users... perhaps you should look into that...

Here ur advice will help me to block maximum porn or others site for some particular users . But if i want to ALLOW (not block) some (like just 3) website like yahoo,msn and hotmail , then what configuration i have need to be changed ?
Is it possible using the above configuration u have said ? if not ,then plz inform me for this purpose what necessary changes has to be needed in the configuration file ?

Sorry for disturb. Accrding ur advice , I have configure "bannedsitelist" . i have written in "exceptionsitelist " , just 3 address like yahoo.com , hotmail.com , gmail.com .

So according to my configuration , my client can get access just these 3 sites . But there has a problem . My client can browse just yahoo.com . But can't access into hotmail and gmail account . Although hotmail and Gmail have entered into "exceptionsitelist " neverthless When they start browsing these pages, then it is showed "Access Has Been Denied " .They can only browse yahoo.com . I don't understand what is the problem ?

Can u help me plz and inform what is the problem ?

i think it's because of URL redirections and stuff... like, i just tried going to hotmail.com and i was redirected twice... once to passport.com and then to live.com... you probably need to check your dansguardian logfile to see the URLs which are being blocked and then add the relevant addresses to the exceptionlist... passport.com, login.live.com, msn.com, etc, etc, etc... for google you'd probbably wanna add mail.google.com or something like that, but check your logfile to be sure...
