selinux and dovecot

have a problem, i am using fc4, and selinux is enabled, when i start dovecot service, and getting failed, after rebooting and disable selinux , service starts gracefully. how do i start service while enabling selinux.

Check the log files to see exactly what SELinux is not allowing. You can use the audit2allow utility then on the log file to change your SELinux policy to allow whatever the bad action is. You will need the policy sources installed, which can be done via yum. Check the man page of audit2allow for more info, since I'm not personally that familiar with it.
