Security test for linux (SSH)


Hi;

Exist any aplication/site to view or identify potential bug's in my machine?

I have all updates of all produts running... but i dont know if is really secure.

This is a huge question, but look into nmap and nessus for a starting point.

yeah, nessus is good if you wanna scan for security issues:

i also recommend rootkit hunter, as it will not only check for rootkits, but also for some common problems lots of systems have (bad permissions, vulnerable versions, etc.):

just my two cents...
