Security consideration to access 3 networks from same PC
I have a PC which s going to connect to three different networks - 192.168.x, 10.10.x, 172.16.x. My PC natively belong to the 10.10.x network.
I am contemplating to configure three different IPs on the same nic of this Fedora box for accessing these three networks. Additionally IP forwarding would be disabled. While configuring the three IPs is not a problem, i am more concerned about the security perspective to this. What do you think would be the positives and negatives of such scenario. Almost all three networks that i am going to access contain critical servers. What would be an alternate secure approach to this.
I have ruled out installing three nic cards in this PC.
Thanks...
