Secure Public Linux Desktop

hi all,

i'm trying to set up a public linux network in a public place. and on those public computers there needs to run one specific program and users need to print, that is all (so they cannot change backgrounds, start no other programs, no shutting down. etc etc)

has anyone off you have an idea how to get this work or where i can find some reading material about this subject?

thanks in advantage.

-cheers-
