Thumbs down samba_pam or samba_ldap


Hi All,
Need some immediate help on the samba Authentication topic.

which one is more secured : samba_pam OR samba_ldap ?
out of the above 2 option which one is easy to configure & more customisable?

AFAIK a split could be made somewhat like this: small network, few hosts: Samba+PAM, large network, many hosts: Samba+LDAP. The question "which one is more secured" is way too generic, it deserves a context: please elaborate what you define as "more secured" and why. Maybe then someone can add an "intelligent" reply.

Ease of configuration ect etc are usually items that can be considered detrimental to security. Please ask that in Linux - Networking or Linux - Software.
