Router/firewall suggestions

Today we are running a NT box with checkpoint witch handles 3 networks (local, DMZ, internet) but we are looking for alternatives.
I've been checking out smoothwall. It seemed perfect, but the only option for the DMZ was port forwarding. Since all the servers on the DMZ have public ip's I was hoping there was a possibility for IP forwarding.
Are there any programs similar to smoothwall that would meet my needs? Or is there a easy way to configure this on suse 9.0. Thanks!

check out iptables, it can do that and everything else too.
it's not that easy to learn at first, but it's sure by far the best one.
much info about iptables on google, here and on http://www.netfilter.org/.

phoenix76, there are a tonne of good references on how to do exactly what you want. Check the "FAQ: Security referencees" for some good reading. If you are just starting into iptable scripts, I'd recommend the book, "Red Hat Linux Firewalls" (ISBN: 0764524631)

If you are still having difficulties, post up your desired configuration and we can tell you how to build the wall.

Cheers.
