I don't know if you'd consider the following a "good" guide, but here it is:

Install from scratch...install Debian 4.0 and select the "encrypted" option during the install.

While the above "guide" isn't exactly the most sophisticated or flexible option, it will work and requires a minimum amount of expertise.
