RH9 iptables Firewall
Hello there,
I've been using linux for some time. I got a problem when I go through some firewall informations. Please give me some idea, Thanks alot. I work for a school, and there are 6 Linux server, ranging from RH6.2 to RH9 (all RH). The firewall I'm now using is Zywall 10, which is a very user friendly firewall with good functionalities. For the firewall, it has a limitation on the number of clients. So, I've been exploring for the information about a Linux Firewall. When I read through those information, it seems that linux firewall is quite perfect to me and it's quite easy to maintain. Finally, I came to a problem. I got 5 real IPs from my ISP, how can I use multiple NAT to mapped those servers to those real IPs? My hardware firewall do keep IP addresses inside. I don't really get how the iptables works? Is it capable to do so? Can someone let me know how or give me one or two links for my information. Rigel |
