Exclamation racoon -- ERROR: phase1 negotiation failed due to time up


hello there,

I've setup an ipsec connection between two hosts. I configured the red aht linux system (kernel 2.6.8.1) using howtos awailable on the web.

racoon on pre shared key gives following message:-

the two computers im using are not directly connected. They are connected through a local LAN. Is this causing a problem.

Can anyone please help me out. Im really freaked out because of small documentation across the web.
