Proftp and ssl howto?


Has anyone found any good how to websites that tell you how to set up proftp with ssl 128bit encryption?

As a research more and more, i found out it may be easier to use openssh with a putty program and log on to it that way. Does anyone know how secure openssh for file transfer?

very secure.

I suggest Filezilla as you client to transfer files, as it supports both ftp and sftp/scp.

Wow, thats kind of nice That was quick and easy, now i wont have to open all the ports up or set up a DMZ. All I have to do is open port 22 for remote access. Next, I must look into securing my server and put a good firewall on it
