Postfix Relaying

Hi,

I use Red Hat 9.0 in my office with postfix 2.1 as mail server. Last week i found unknown mails add up to my mail queue. when i type $postqueue -p in the prompt it shows "MAILER-DAEMON" as source and it shows some ID to which those mail are being sent. These mails keep getting added in my mail queue and it sucks all my bandwidth. I am a newbie to linux... i am not much familier with iptables and linux firewall.... so i have not set any rules..... is there any way that i could test the souce and stop this junk mails which are relayed throught my server ?

Please help me
Thanks in advance

Regards
Venkat

MAILER-DAEMON messages are not junk messages, they are "bounce messages". You might want to read more about it at e. g. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bounce_message.
