possible fix for k 2.6.31

hi

Based on LXer
http://www.linuxquestions.org/questi...light=spengler

It is alleged he will shortly publish the exploit.

2) sidux have published a test and a possible work-a-round
YMMV

http://www.sidux.com/module-News-display-sid-547.html

This page may change....it has aleady done so when a mod found that wine may be an app that changes to pre-condition for exploit.

submitted in the hope it might be useful.

Feel free to delete if misleading, inappropiate etc

(I am not a sidux dev)

I'd actually be surprised if most system administrators didn't set mmap_min_addr to non-zero after the astronomic amount of media coverage the first exploit received back in July.
