port 4443 open?

i opened Gaim (10x better than aim.com's client) and tried to DC to someone. it failed and i checked netstat -a and i found port 4443 open..hmm:

tcp 0 0 *:4443 *:* LISTEN

is this a security risk? should i worry about it listening? thanks in advance for responses
