Angry POP3 Help (RedHat 9)

I have setup users to have access only to email on the server (shell set to /bin/false, or /sbin/nologin), and everything works greate however!
After a day or so, thier passwords stop working through the POP3 server, and I have to reset them before they can get their mail again (using outlook, or others)

Also installed/running:
Samba (with password sync off)
Sendmail
MySQL
Apache
etc.

Any ideas as to why this is happening?

Thanks

If your question hasn't been answered already... it sounds like the passwords have an extremely short time-out, or maybe you got the syntax wrong when you were setting the expiration. Is this Mandrake by any chance? I know I had one heck of a time trying to figure out the proper values for chpass so I finally just set all the accounts to expire in the year 9999. I'd print out my setup for you if I still ran Mandrake. Sorry

It is Redhat 9... I just tried using redhat-config-users to go through each user and ensure that password expiration is disabled for everyone. Lets see what that does ;-)
