pop-before-ssh ?

Expert,

Does anybody know any piece of software or any trick I could use to secure the access to my linux server when I use ssh from a distant computer, from which I would not know the IP,
that is, from my home using aol-pstn for instance.
kind of a "pop-before-smtp", but for ssh...
