Password Help


Recently I have been wanting to put a password on my home folder so you have to type in a pass to access it. Since i have never attempted this in linux i do not know how it is done. I am running Redhat Linux 9 currently.

just change the permissions so the owner is the "only" one who has access to it.

Not what I meant...

I mean like so even I have to put in a pass to get it... I have Info I dont want my parents to have...

It's a step up from changing permissions, as it seems to encrypt files.
