OS Hardening in RHEL 4
 
Help me,

I am doing OS Hardening in RHEL 5.I urgently want to know whther the below features can be implemented in RHEL 4 also.

1.Requirement of root password for single user mode--

edit ~~:S:wait:/sbin/sulogin in /etc/inittab

This will prompt for root password in single user mode else it will give option (ctrl-D)runlevel 5

2.Disable interactive boot

Edit /etc/sysconfig/init with PROMPT=NO .
This will not show the option of press I to enter interactive
