optimum ulimit configuration

hi ,

i have a server on which 20 users work on applications like firefox,openoffice and basic linux games.The users are restricted from using the system terminal.
I would like to know if there is an optimum or recommended ulimit (/etc/security/limits.conf) configuration for this kind of setup. since i am a newbie i am unable to get this work.

Actually found a wee bit of explanation here: http://www.cyberciti.biz/tips/linux-...r-process.html. Like it say you should note KDE and Gnome launch many processes. Trial and error I'd say and if this is part of system hardening take care not to lose overview.
