need a script


Hi !

I use RH is there a script to armor the machine automatically?

nothing is armored automatically and stands for a long time, there are tons of iptables sample scripts out there for you to choose from
you will have to edit the script to fit your connection settings (dsl/cable..)and security measures..

have fun

oh and:
man iptables

I am talking not just about iptables also about disabling services and users etc'
where can I find those scripts?

Almost all degrees of automation should provoke some form of distrust.
Automation is no substitute for knowing your systems.
Bastille-linux and Tiger will cover a lot tho.
