LUKS bash script implements two-factor security
I've written a script in bash that automates the use of LUKS, but more importantly exports the password to a GPG'd armorfile for transport. This script implements as close to true two-factor security as LUKS can get.
The script was originally written to create armourfiles that can be burned to CD/DVD, but was retrofitted to include devices (partitions, USB drives, etc). The script has been reviewed by peers and has undergone stress testing - file system integrity has been closely evaluated under heavy use (that's what screwed me with BestCrypt and the like - corrupt files!). I absolutely welcome further review and any comments. http://www.death-zone.org Projects section, 'Military-Grade Cryptofile' Thank you! |
I see this post has gotten 139 hits to date, but no comments - I'm genuinely looking for feedback and script assistance as necessary! Please comment back as you use this script, I'd like to know what your experiences have been.
Thank you! - Raston |
