So I'll close it. Note it appears CVE-2016-5696 (https://www.mail-archive.com/netdev@...msg118677.html) was fixed in Fedora, RHEL and ergo CentOS (https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1354708) but not in Debian (https://security-tracker.debian.org/...VE-2016-5696)?..
