Key manager for linux
Are there any key managers for linux? For clarity, the ones that hold all the passwords that you use for encrypting files and stuff like that. It stores all of the passwords you type into it.

Hi! These look interesting;
[pwsafe] [MyPasswordSafe] [Password Gorilla] I personally like Password Gorilla. |
Password Gorilla
I hope that Engmar (who recommended Password Gorilla) or some other user will have pity on a comparative newbie and answer my lame question.
I'd like to use Password Gorilla because it runs on both window$ and Linux, since I'm running both OSs on two machines. I've installed Password Gorilla on window$ but I can't figure out what to do on Linux. I have downloaded and extracted tclkit and I have downloaded gorilla-1.0.kit. I've put both of them in several different folders, gone to a console in that folder, done su root, and entered the command tclikt gorilla-1.0.kit as instructed on the Password Gorilla page. No matter how or where I do it, I get the message "permission denied". I can't do it as root and I can't do it in my user account. What am I doing wrong? Thanks! Walt :confused: |
