The book looks to be pretty dated, having been published in 2002. This makes my opinion on it a little bit mixed as many of the fundamentals and even specific concepts would still apply, yet computer security is a constantly evolving field. The book does have a very good rating and review on Amazon with a large number of five star reviews and very few negatives and no 'bad' reviews.

I would also like to suggest that you edit your post to eliminate the references to TPB downloads to better comply with the forum rules.
