Iptables: Highly & Easily Configurable Tool ?

Hi,

I was wondering if there are some programs for Linux to easily make my firewall ex. like Zone Alarm, by giving permission to applications who need it, without giving up the highly configurable things like: ACCEPT INCOMING TCP 21 / FTP,

I tryed to make the Iptables text-based but it's too hard.

I use guarddog, which makes it easy to configure a firewall. Just search for "guarddog firewall" on Google and you should find a download easily. Highly recommended--at least by me.
