IPSEC problem regarding connection Name

Hello friends,

I am using openswan, I have two machines and trying to create tunnel between, for that I have two connections named "test" and "testone" respectively thats uses PSK method in both the machines.

Now when i start the tunnel it give me error from any of the machines. But when i change the name of connection from "testone" to someother name not starting with "test" which is the name of first connection it works and i can able to create tunnel between both.

so is there any name conventions(or any rules) i need to follow while naming connections..

Thank You

Have a nice time and good day ahead..

Ankur.

The openswan config file parsing script is incredibly touchy (at least that's my experience). You can read it yourself (it's just a normal bourne-shell script). I do not actually know why your specific problem is occurring, but the most common problem for me is misplaced comments or tabs.
