Ios

Im sorry for this post about a not linux OS, but i read about the cisco vulnerabilities in IOS 12.0. I searched the internet and looked at cisco.com to find a newer IOS for the 2600 series but couldnt find it anywhere.
On cisco.com you have to be registred(and im not).

Can anyone tell me where i can find some newer IOS versions for the 2600 series?

Tnx

Ask your reseller?

Yeah I don't this Cisco puts IOS out there for the world to download. I could be wrong but I have never seen a link to it on their site. Follow UnSpawn's suggestion or ask a friend who has connections.

OK knowing a little about Cisco and there IOS. Usually you can't get a full IOS unless you either already purchased the same major and minor release number version that you intend to download or you have connections to someone who can download it. Usually someone who has a mid to high level CCO account. WHat i mean by same makor a minor version number is, say uou had IOS version 12.0-XYZ.ABC plus whatever suffixes there were. You can only get version 12.0-XYZ.DEF. Cisco doesn't hand out new releases for the hell of it. They only usually hand out security fixes for your same version.
