Hi all, today I open my Debian Lenny with pcmanfm as file manager and fluxbox and while I'm trying to open a jpg file, in the context menu "open with" apears to me the option "iexplore" (screenshot attached).
I absolutly don't use ies4linux to navigate or IE with wine. However I have wine installed in the machine.

I remember that iexplore is also a Malware for windows that installs hateful icons in the whole system pretending to be the real IE.

Now my question: where can I see which program the context menu try to open? Is possible that I get a windows malware (I don't know how) in my Linux system? Can I continue to consider my system safe (I use it for work)?

If someone want I also need to understand how debian set the file associations (folder option->file types in windows).

I appreciate every help.

Marco

I doubt it. Internet Explorer is installed when you install wine.
