I don't understand some of the settings in /etc/limits


Hi,

Here are the settings im talking about:

-max address space
-max core file size
-max data size
-max locked-in-memory address space
-max resident set size
-max stack size (thats not the CPU-stack is it?)

What do these options mean/indicate?

You may want to take a look at getrlimit(2).
