how to open udp ports on suse enterprise server 9

Hi,

I need to open certain udp ports on a suse enterprise server 9 in order to use it as the central manager of our condor pool, but couldn't find where to do this in yast tool, does anyone have any ideas?

Thanks

Well is you either download a GUI firewall and edit your ports from there or hack you firewall config. Not sure if the default Suse firewall GUI will allow actions of this nature.

This is for 9.3, but it should be much different (if any):

IIRC, you should be able to enter port numbers in the "Allowed Services" interface of the firewall config. If not, you can manually open them in the firewall config file under the FW_SERVICES_EXT_UDP variable.

--EDIT--
This is the SuSE 9 guide. Firewall config with YaST is on pg 469:
