How to get VPN in Linux (i.e. Xubuntu 14.04)?

Hello,
Can anyone tell me, which VPN provider is the best one for Linux users? And which program is the best to install and use on my computers?
I'm working in Linux Xubuntu version 14.04.
Thank you beforehand!

That depends on what you value--i.e., what matters to you. Is cost your main concern? or security? Do you need any particular geographic availability? Do you need a GUI client?

By "program," I'm guessing you mean "VPN client." That will probably depend on the provider you choose.

Alternatively, consider providing your own linux VPN:
  1. rent a cheap linux host, e.g., a linode
  2. install/configure an OpenVPN server on your host. See example here
  3. install/configure an OpenVPN client on your device(s) (see same example).

You can use IPVanish or PureVPN they support Linux and have good protocols which you can use for complete anonymity and security. You can read their review at bestvpnservice.com or can find more good VPN list for Linux there. Hope it will help you.
