Ok guys, this is the deal i got Fedora 8 up an running and im getting a few wifi signals on my pc, i can connect to a few of them just fine, but as you know all that you do over wifi can be intercepted, so what are my options in order to be secure while im online, how can i keep my privacy, is there a way i can encrypt all that i do.

I've been reading things about doing vpn tunneling or doing ssh secure connections, to be honest i dont know heck about that but if any of those options would be good for me just let me know so i can start searching about that, or let me know any link about this topic.
