Hot scan incoming pop mail f-prot?

Im using thunderbird for my pop mail and would like to scan the incoming mail. Ive created a script and made it run as a cron job every so often daily but how can i make it scan the incoming mail? i also somtimes use bitdefender.

Im only a little worried as i forward alot of emails on to collegues who use outlook on windows.

try F-Secure it has a nice web console as alternative to conf file (both available)
