Help requried to write the decrypted ipsec packets to the local disk.

Hi,

I am using kernel 2.6.18 version in fedora linux which has built-in support for ipsec. I am working on a project in which I have to write the decrypted ipsec packets to the local disk.

Any document or comments or help that might help me to understand the relevant code or perform this task. Please also specify the relevant code and the documents to understand it.

Regards,

If you want to look at decrypted packets, well, that would simply be "whatever is coming out of the tunnel!"

By far, ethereal is the TCP/IP capture-and-analysis tool that you want to use. It's free, of course. Your distro will have it.

I need to find the code where the packet comes out from the tunnel i.e. decrypted packet. Just for the project or testing, I need to modify the kernel code to write that packet into the disk or to do something else with the packet.

It would be nice if someone can provide me the location of the code reside in kernel source code or any documentation to understand it. I have tried to understand ~/net/IPv6 files but I found out without any documentation I could not understand the IPv6code.
