Cool hdparm ATA security commands, wheres public cvs?

hi

the hdparm ata security commands by distri hdparm binaries dont work with debian, whax, knoppix for my discs. kernels 2.6.11...2.6.13...latest debian sid kernel.

hdparm 6.1.2, sarge+sid returning "cant allocate mem" or "invalid argument".

maxtor , seagate ata5-6 interfaces on via and sil680.

i need to secure these two discs.

i would investigate and patch,

wheres the cvs? mailing lists? cant find, only the author...

y
