Hardware cryptographic module for Linux?
I am not sure if this should go in the hardware forum.
We are doing an investigation to port our systems to Linux.
We have a typical client/server environment where the client is rather fat and the server thin.
Our focus is on the server first.
The main problem is that our triple des encryption is handled by a hardware module which plugs into the pci slot on the motherboard supplied by an outside vendor.
The vendor also supplies the driver and api to interface with the card...
Unfortunately these guys use the Micro$oft CSP and is not looking to support Linux.
Does anyone know of a company that supplies such modules for Linux.
Any other suggestions will also be welcome.
Thanks
