Harddisk monitoring of Linux

HI guyz

I want to monitor my linux machine hardisk can any provide me script for this. Also kindly tell me how can i divert all these messages to my syslog server

Maybe smartmontools is what you're looking for?

It contains a daemon for monitoring SMART storage systems.

What info are you looking to monitor about your hard disks?
