hey guys

recently if you have a vds with godaddy.com, they changed ssh so you cannot login with root, and force you to make a new user name...

i like using WinSCP, and now i cannot do anything because i cannot isue a su command from there...so how can i change my user, "brian" to have su features from putty....?

i cant preform a su command within winscp and godaddy is blocking root access...making my life a living hell....PLEASE

I'm not familiar with their service, but have you tried simply contacting their support department and asking?
