Gnome screen won't lock

Hi,

My machine is in back of a firewall (DSL router), so I set rather minimal security using Lokkit. I don't know if that caused the problem. But, I cannot lock screen from the Gnome panel. Any suggestions?

Inspect if the command, path and it's parameters are correct. Then try executing the command manually looking for any errors. Then try another xlock-like app.

/* Btw, IMO this ain't a security question but a software/config one. Please consider your forum target before posting. */

Hi unSpawm,

Thanks for the help. xlock works perfectly manually. It still doesn't work from the Gnome screen. The permissions, path and parameters are fine.

I thought carefully about which forum to target before I submitted. Since, I suspected that I had made an error in lokkit, I decided to first pick Security.

Uhm, ok, np then. Since you think you've made an error in Lokkit, does it generate any errors you'd wanna post?
