Flash problem?

I found this:

''Update for those interested
Adobe Systems has issued an alert this week, warning users of Flash Player
on Linux systems that a vulnerability could allow an attacker to take
control of an affected system.

The flaw is in Adobe Flash Player for Linux 10.0.12.36 and Adobe Flash
Player for Linux 9.0.151.0. An attacker could exploit the flaw by passing a
malicious Shockwave flash SWF file. To correct the problem, Adobe issued a
new version of its Flash Player for Linux.

Danish vulnerability clearinghouse, Secunia, gave the flaw a highly
critical rating. Secunia said the flash player has a SWF processing error.

The issue does not affect the Macintosh or Windows versions of Flash
Player..''

Since I see nothing about it here, can I assume it is scareware?

Advisories were released by Secunia, VUPEN, and SecurityFocus (among others). More importantly, an advisory was released by Adobe themselves. Considering that this vulnerability is described as critical, I think it's in your best interest to make sure you upgrade if you haven't done so already. I'm not sure why not having seen anything about it here would make you think otherwise.
