Firewall Linux distribution with application layer filtering?

I am looking for a Firewall distribution with application layer filtering. I have used smoothwall and ipcop, but I think they are limited to Layer four and below on the OSI model. I am looking for a layer 7 firewall, because a client needs to block bittorrent

ClearOS's site states that it will monitor and block traffic.

Astaro apparently also monitors and blocks.

Check PFSense also...that may also monitor/block layer 7. [EDIT: I can't see any information that states the PFSense will actively block layer 7 traffic.]
