firewall and squid
 

Hello all outa ther
i have a firewall of projectfiles.com
now i wana ask a simple thing that if i have this firewall enabled do i have to use ... squid for sharing my internet connection which is running on linux box with other pcz on network .... all are windows client ...

Don't have to..

Could be useful for browsing speed, but wait until there's a problem first.
It works best for sites that are visited regularly & don't change that much.
